art and soul

i work in my beloved home studio.  i love giving voice to the emotions, conflicts, and experiences that reside in the human mind.  my paintings are quite personal; it is an honest, expressive form of “working through” my feelings, triumphs, and fears.  my hope is that my work resonates with others:  i want people to see my pieces and feel a connection.  i want them to be able to relate their own experiences and emotions to the brush strokes on the canvas.  my medium is acrylic.  i love color and texture, and i couldn’t live without my palette knives.

fashion forward

fashion is a way of life for me.  as a fashionista, it’s fun to approach each outfit like you’re starting out with a blank canvas.  fashion is a form of artistic expression, and i take it seriously.  i’ve heard it said that your home, your wardrobe, even your decor, those are all reflections of yourself.  they can speak volumes about you, even if you haven’t articulated anything.
